Downtown Mural at Mt. Airy Renaissance

The Town of Mt. Airy sought a signature public art installation that would celebrate its industrial heritage while symbolizing renewal and growth. Collaborating with local leaders and residents, I designed a large-scale mural that highlights the town’s history of agriculture, granite, and textiles, while weaving in ghost signage from historical businesses.

The final work serves as both a tribute to the past and a beacon for the town’s revitalized future, anchoring the community’s ongoing downtown renaissance.
